MTCA Sign up Due September 16th!!

Please use the following form (CLICK HERE) to registers for MTCA March 23-27 (https://www.mtcofa.com/).

This is a fantastic opportunity for our cast and an experience they will never forget (including a day at Knotts Berry Farms (https://www.knotts.com/). All performers will participate in the ensemble competition (included in price), and have the opportunity to participate in anyone or more of the following categories (at $100 per category):

  • Solo

  • Duet

  • Monologue

  • Solo Musical Theatre Dance

Please note the following guidelines regarding song choice from MTCA:

  • Songs from a published musical that has been used in a musical (regardless of its previous publication as a classical or popular song – e.g., Mamma Mia, etc.)

  • Musicals in pre-production are allowed.

The following are unacceptable:

  • Songs from films.

  • Songs from television.

  • Popular songs not used in published work for the theatre.

  • Classical songs not used in a published work for the theatre.

Cost: Right now we are estimating the full cost for a cast member to be $1,200 - $1,400. Our goal is to raise at least half of this cost through fundraising efforts; however, you should be prepared to covered the full cost if that is necessary. In order to reserve the cast members spot, we are requesting confirmation of your attendance by FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 16th. The initial $400 deposit will then be billed to your family account (This will either be auto drafted per your agreement with RCS or you will need to pay online by September 30 to avoid late fees). Once we have a better understanding of total cost (dependent on how many cast members attend, airline fees and hotel rooms), we will communicate a final schedule of payment (likely December and February).


Chaperone: Depending on the number of cast members participating, we will need 3-6 chaperones. Please complete a separate Jot Entry form if you would like to be on the chaperone list. Once we know how many cast members will be attending, we will be communicating regarding chaperones. Once we confirm you as a chaperone, your family account will be billed similar to the cast member (e.g., your account will be billed an additional deposit of $400).


Transportation and hotel: This trip is all inclusive and transportation and hotel will be secured and provided for all cast members and chaperones. We cannot guarantee a hotel room or plane ticket for additional family members in our reservation blocks, but will do our best to accommodate if there are extras available.
